Hello All!   

It’s been so very long since I’ve touched based with my many wonderful blog readers.  Thank you for your patience.  Building a business requires wearing 8 hats and 16 hour days, but I continue to LOVE what I do! 

June: I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Israel.   The first 6 days at the Dead Sea in Ein Bokek, bobbing about in a blissful state and thanking all powers that be for the wonderful opportunity I’ve been given to play a small part in the health of others, naturally!   Then to Ceasaria to work with my cosmetic developer, Liora of Israderm of Israel.  And we did it!!   We developed FOR YOU, our customer,  two All Natural, Amazingly Affordable Amazing Mineral products that will be in the marketplace by October 2009. Watch for our new Amazing Minerals Moisturizer (created for the face, affordable enough to indulge the body & hands on a daily basis!) and our Amazing Minerals Skin Polish (Gentle enough for the face yet strong enough for rough elbows and knees, too!) in a health food store near you.  I will do my best to get them on our website by early December, but quantities will be very limited for the first few months.  

July: Finally opened our new Storeroom and Soap Creation Room in Incline Village, Nv.   If you live nearby or are traveling through, please stop by and say hello?   We are open most Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays from 10 -2 and sometimes we are open on Tues, Wed. and Thurs., too.  You can watch my wonderful Soap Chefs creating our popular Dead Sea Soaps 15-22 bars at a time.  It’s fascinating to see the love that goes into each and every hand crafted bar.   Call our Showroom number at 775-831-8089 to see if we are open and pouring?   (Location is:  760 Mays Blvd. , Unit # 9, Incline Village, Nv.  89451).  

August:  Whole Foods in Reno, Nv.  picked up our line and I have been running up and down the mountain to do live demonstrations.  What fun!!!   And this weekend, the Burning Man crowd was coming through stocking up for their wonderful week in the Black Rock Desert outside Reno and we made lots of new friends from all over the world:  Sweden, Russia, Thailand….they come from all corners to experience and participate.   May they create memories to last a lifetime.

What a day today has been.   In the throes of preparing to go out of town for the next 10 days, I am running hither and thither doing this and that hoping I don’t forget a thing (oh my!  I just remembered something!  Be right back…).   In the midst of all this controlled chaos, I received the following testimonial:

First, an accomplishment to announce!!  I am told by our product developer, Israderm of Israel, that as a direct result of my insistence on All Natural Dead Sea Products  of the absolute highest quality for Dead Sea Warehouse, they have been educated and are changing their corporate policy to reflect all natural in all of their products !!!   This is huge.  I am the Mosquito and they are the elephant and the elephant is making a wonderful change that will have a positive impact on the earth and all who walk it and use their products.   Isn’t that great?   Never compromise quality is one of my mottos.   I am very proud of this magnificent shift in policy in one of the largeste cosmetic development companies in the Middle East.

Second, an update on our newest product development.   Our Dead Sea Magic Mineral Salt Scrub continues on its’ slow but steady path to perfection!  What we have learned along the way is very telling, indeed.

Seems that there is an absolute limit to the percentage of full-mineral Dead Sea Salts able to be added to any liquid medium (oils, water, etc….any liquid bases) before the scrub becomes WAY TOO STRONG for direct scrubbing on human skin.   And so, reluctantly, I have had to accept that we will have to go with some of the Dead Sea Sodium Chloride Salts in our scrub as well or it will simply be unusable.

We are now looking at what the HIGHEST PERCENTAGE of full mineral Dead Sea Salts is that we can add to our all natural scrub and still have it work its’ therapeutic magic for you….and that is what we will bring to the healthy marketplace!  Wish me luck as I continue to scrub scrub scrub as I test test test away!

I am thrilled to report that our new product developments continue along a most wonderful path, Naturally!   This week will see the arrival of the newest samples of our soon-to-be available (Spring 2009) All Natural, Amazingly Affordable Dead Sea Magic Mineral Body & Face Scrub………the only Dead Sea Scrub I am aware of that utilizes full-mineral Dead Sea Bath Salt grains ONLY, rather than the commonly utilized Dead Sea extracted Sodium Chloride grains you will find in other scrubs that state they use Dead Sea Salts (usually as only a tiny component along with other salts due to the high cost of Dead Sea Full Mineral Salts).

We have been working 8 months on different possibilities for this “Cross-Over” scrub (good for face & body) with my usual insistence on totally natural ingredients leading to some very interesting problems that needed to be addressed and solved, but per usual, Liora at Israderm of Israel, being the cosmetic genius that she is, rose to the occasion!
